Google offers encouragement to French business.
Potato launched a brand new app for Google France last week, Startup Café providing a central hub for the French startup community.
Billed as providing 'resources from entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs', Startup Café was delivered in France, in both French and English.
The website delivers both knowledge (in the form of online video seminars and advice), as well as tools (ranging from project management and productivity apps, right up to Google Analytics and github.
Built by Potato, with design work provided by sister agency Toaster, the site makes use of the YouTube and Google Maps APIs, an easy-to-use front-end allowing entrepreneurs to find support and partners in a number of ways.
Startup Café is backed by Google, alongside APCE, Entrepreneurship.org, HEC Paris, ParisTech, SciencesPo, Silicon Sentier, Strate College, Telecom ParisTech, YouTube Education and faberNovel.
