Site for Google marks a decade of Google Deutschland.

New site celebrates 10 years of Google Germany

Chart Google's history with this new Potato launch.

A new website has been launched this week by Potato, celebrating a decade of Google's presence in Germany.

10 Jahre Google is based on a design by German agency Kolle Rebbe, the Potato-built website tracking Google's evolution in Germany, taking in important local events (tracked via search results), as well as product launches like AdWords, AdSense, Google News and GMail.

The site also includes a catalogue of Google.de Doodles, looks at personnel who have shaped the company's fortunes, and focuses on local initiatives like the Potato-made Online Motor Deutschland (part of the Getting Business Online initiative).

Google opened for business in Hamburg in 2001, and now has offices in five cities, employing more than 500 people. Find out more about Potato's involvement in this project.
